Lusaka Dynamos finally recorded their first win of the season as they thrashed Sensational Zanaco 3-0 this afternoon at Sunset Stadium.
Elite came into the match looking for their first win of the season having drawn all their first five games while Sensational Zanaco was looking to improve on their emphatic 3-1 win over Zesco United in midweek.
The match was an evenly contested affair from the onset with both teams threatening and creating chances. It was Lusaka Dynamos who opened the scores just before halftime thanks to an Aubrey Funga strike from outside the area.
Collins Sikombe added a second in the 77th minute before turning to provide in the 89th to set up Emmanuel Chabula for his first goal in Lusaka Dynamos colors to seal a well deserved 3-0 win.
In Kafue, Ten-man Kabwe Warriors beat Young Green Eagles 2-0 away at Khosa Stadium. Cephas Mulombwa and Jimmy Ndhlovu scored for Warriors. Mulombwa was however sent off in the second half for a second bookable offense.
At Edwin Imboela Stadium, High Flying Nkwazi were held to a goalless draw by Prison Leopards.
Lusaka Dynamos move to fourth on the table with their as Zanaco drop to seventh while Kabwe Warriors move from the relegation zone to 11th place.
