ZSL: Kabwe sides fight back to rescue a point

Kabwe sides, Warriors, and Prison Leopards came from a goal down to rescue a point this afternoon as week 27 of the Zambia Super League came alive.

Warriors leveled matters just a minute into the second half at Trade Fair ground thanks to a Tresor Ndaya strike.

The goal was Ndaya’s second in as many games having second the only goal in the win over Power Dynamos at the weekend.

Christone Jere put Team Kopala in the lead in the 19th minute with a brilliant long range free kick that beat Scot Ngokene at his near post, 1-1 the match ended.

At President Stadium, Clement ‘Jakuzi’ Mulenga continued his fine form as he scored his fifth goal of the season from a free kick to put Indeni in the lead in the 15th minute.

Francis Zulu equalized for the Collect Boys in the 62nd minute to make sure the spoils where shared.

Action from the Super League continues tomorrow with Power Dynamos hosting Red Arrows as the headline fixture.
