Zanaco FC on Friday evening held their awards gala at which veteran defender Ziyo Tembo was named as the club’s player of the year.
Tembo who is the team captain walked away with two awards after his fellow players also voted for him as the Player player of the year.
Moses Phiri walked away with the top scorers award after he banged in 11 goals.
U23 international Salulani Phiri who is also with the CHAN team in South Africa was given the most disciplined player award.
Boyd Musonda was named the young player of the year while Charles Zulu who is out in France on trials got the most improved player award.
The most consistent player award went to Fackson Kapumbu while Racha Kola got the Chairman’s award.
