Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League sides Scottland FC and Highlanders have expressed interest in Atletico Lusaka captain Abel Kanyamuna.
The midfielder was a key player for the Bad Boys in the 2024/2025 MTN Super League season and impressed despite the team’s relegation from the MTN Super League.
Kanyamuna is known for his calming control of the game and leadership skills on the pitch.

Kanyamuna joined Buildcon in February 2022 from Portuguese second-tier side CD Trofense penning a one year deal before making a return to his boyhood club, Atletico Lusaka.
The 23 year old youngster also featured for Italian Serie A side Cagliari’s U-17 and U–19 sides.
In September 2020, Kanyamuna was roped into Italian Serie A TIM side Cagliari Calcio for their preseason in Aritzo, a commune in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia.
Kanyamuna, a product of Chipata Township benefitted from his high school grades that earned him an academic scholarship to Italy.
His gateway into Europe was the Ponsacco Football Academy in Italy, where he spent six months learning the language and taking his first steps in Italian football.
He then spent six months at Serie C side U.S. Pistoiese 1921 based in Pistoia, about 60km from Ponsacco.
