Zesco United have opened talks with George Chilufya for a possible managerial role, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
According to highly placed ZamFoot Crew sources, the Zesco United hierarchy are expected to hold talks with the Kabwe Warriors coach this week.
Zesco have turned to Chilufya after failed talks with Nchanga Rangers’ veteran coach George Lwandamina.
“George Chilufya is our number one target now. He has done well at Warriors,” the ZamFoot Crew source said.
“It seems like Ba Chicken will stay in Chingola.
Under Chilufya, Kabwe Warriors finished fourth on the log with Zesco United in the bottom half of the table.
The ZamFoot Crew also understands that Nchimunya Mweetwa is being earmarked for a coaching role at Zesco United.
