Nkana transfer ban lifted…set to start announcing new acquisitions tomorrow

Record 13 time MTN Super League Champions Nkana Football Club transfer ban has been lifted.

The Wusakile based outfit will be able to register players in the current transfer window. They Kitwe giants no longer appear on the the FIFA Registration Ban List monitored by the ZamFoot Crew

The development ends Kalampa’s registration restrictions, meaning they can now sign new players subject to FIFA and FAZ regulations. The ban stemmed from unresolved contractual disputes, which had previously stalled Nkana’s squad reinforcements.

The players that landed Nkana in problems include Cameroonian defender Dimitri Njalla, Congolese midfielder Mousa Lemisa and striker David Kabala.

The ZamFoot Crew understands Nkana will reveal new additions to the squad tomorrow as they look to reinforce their roster.

Nkana struggled last season fighting relegation for the majority of their campaign and finishing just 13th on the table with 39 points.
