Erstwhile champions Zesco United have a secured a spot in Africa after they edged Nkana Fc to the second position on the 2016 log with a 2 – 0 win over Lumwana Radiants.
Two second half goals from Lazarous Kambole and Benard Mapili were enough to hand Zesco three points which sees them end the season on 72 points ahead of Nkana who were hoping for Zesco loss if they were to take second position.
The result sets Zanaco and the Zesco as the two clubs that will represent Zambia in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup respectively.
The Ndola side this year made history by being the first Zambian club to reach the semi finals of the CAF Champions League where they were eliminated by Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.
I am certain that Zanaco will get kicked out in the preliminary rounds of the Caf Champions League because their coach Numba is not sophisticated enough. The only reason they won the championship was because Zesco suffered from fatigue.
Are you predicting or you are wishing that it so happens? Well in those years I would accept what you are saying. This time around I am not sure. Anything can happen.
Papa is very right zanaco can’t go any were and wining the cup was just lucky not hard work
