ZESCO United, Green Eagles, NAPSA Stars battle for Mangani Banda signature

MTN Super League sides ZESCO United, Green Eagles and NAPSA Stars are set to fight the signature of goalkeeper Mangani ‘Gigi’ Banda, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

Zega Mambo has joined the race to sign the former Zambia U20 goalminder.

The Kawale Boys were the first to express interest in Mangani and have made contact as they look to seal the deal. Banda was reported to have agreed personal terms to join Eagles.

However the emergence of ZESCO United and NAPSA Stars has complicated matters for Eagles who were in pole position to secure his services.

Banda was named MTN Super League Goalkeeper of the Year after an outstanding season with Kabwe Warriors in which he managed to keep 17 clean sheets.
