The Football Association of Zambia FAZ has announced that the Week 8 and 11 rescheduled matches which were scheduled to take place on Wednesday June 17, 2015 have been postponed to a later date.
FAZ has stated that the postponement has been necessitated by the number of players Zesco United and Red Arrows have contributed to the CHAN team.
Zesco United have contributed Jacob Banda, Kondwani Mtonga, Winstone Kalengo, Justine Zulu and Jackson Mwanza to the team while Red Arrows have Danny Munyao, Benedict Chepeshi, Bronson Chama, Paul Katema, Patrick Ngoma and Shadreck Malambo.
Zesco United were scheduled to play Green Eagles while Red Arrows were to play Power Dynamos.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Green Eagles had already arrive in Ndola from Choma by the time the postponement was announced.

If choma eagles traveled then FAZ should foot their bills cause its not choma’s fault. Clubs struggle to find resources surely FAZ should be responsible enough to assist these clubs & not make them suffer like this…. I pray its not true
The current FAZ is now fatigued and things are hitting them hard. Its really sad that a national could have postponement of a postponed match. This is the reason why there should be a separate body to govern the league. FAZ has surely failed to handle both the national teams and the league. SAD
Well , quite something when you think of how the other players who remain at these clubs feel when they are told indirectly ‘we can not play a game’ because those we want to feature are away on national duty! Like saying to them, ‘you are just only good for training with the club only and not playing FAZ league games. That must be frustrating to the other registered players who cherish to be featured I guess. Will these postponement not backfire on these clubs when they start reducing the backlog (midweek games etc) because it means they will not play on Saturday 20th June as well?
Faz refund choma eagles now that’s poor communication

I suspect Patrice Carteron will be the new Chipolopolo coach. Having played as a player for Cannes, Saint-Entienne, Sunderland, Olympique Lyon, Rennes and Stade Laval, he aso has great experience in coaching having coached Cannes,Dijon, Mali National team and African giants TP Mazembe, he comes close to my mind when I hear that of the three shortlisted, one is from France. His favorite formation is 4 2 3 1 where you pack the midfield with two midfielders helping in defence while three of them helping in attack. I hope its him coz he has worked with Kalaba, Sinkala, Sunzu and Singuluma and will not struggle to adapt in Africa having worked in Mali and Congo. PATRICE CARTERON? What do u think?
