    • @Zedian, poor reporting as usual?!!! We gave you the team list yesterday and you are too lazy to reference that by clicking the story which is right on this page yet you accuse us who take time to bring updates for you to be poor at our work? Come’on!

    • Kikiki lelo Ba ZamFoot bakalipa, but I doubt if it our HARDWORKING ZamFoot. Na Chipolopolo team yakaena, you can’t even be proud to repeat names of players.
@Zedian, you need apologize man. You know most of us are tired of reading same names everyday. Next time just tell us the names 10 minutes before the match. Twanaka, no sensational players sure…. when we will ever produce another Mbesuma of those days, whom we can look forward to watch.

  1. I am not interested in this rubbish. This coach is more useless than Janza. Mark my words Janza would have beaten bissau

  2. KALABA SNUBS FRENCH MOVE AS SUNZU, PATSON, DUDE SET FOR FRENCH SIDE LILLE
    .
Chipolopolo skipper and TP Mazembe playmaker Rainford Kalaba has rejected a move to top French side Lille, Zambian Football KICKOFF understands.
But fellow Chipolopolo star, Stoppila Sunzu and the U20 striking twosome of Patson Daka and Patrick ‘Dude’ Ngoma are set for try-outs at the French outfit where 2012 Nations cup winning coach Herve Renard recently took over.
The ZamFoot crew has also been told that Mazembe, who are chasing a fifth CAF Champions League title were also not willing to release the Zambia skipper for a reunion with Renard. Kalaba has been in blistering form for Mazembe and is key for the Lubumbashi side’s continental campaign.
Daka and Ngoma are set to leave for France soon while it remains to be seen whether Lille can prize Sunzu – one of Africa’s top defence pillars in the next transfer window or would have to wait for January 2016.

    • Kalaba is enjoying himself with Kasai ladies and he does not want to go a chase french girls, plus TP is taking care of him in Zaire, so can’t blame the dude that much, but a sad development for Zambian football, however he is still one of the bright spot in the team, so I respect his stance on this. As long as he is good playing for Zambia, iam all good than him going to Europe and be a bench warmer which would affect his performance in the squad. For the young kids invited for try outs, good luck and hope you succeed and hopefully contribute to the Zambia. Credit to Kalu (if he is involve in the movement) and all those involved, but that does not take away the fact that we DO NOT want his corruption and his arrogance. We want transparency.

    • If its true about Kalaba then that’s really sad. I believe he is too good a talent not to play in European league. He’s been in his comfort zone at Mazembe too long. Time for a new challenge.

    • Somehow I can understand Kalaba. Katumbi pays him well and he is well looked after. The guy is 28 years or so. There is no guarantee he will be playing regularly. Moreover the money that Lille are offering may be lower than what he is getting at TP Mazembe. Plus knowing these guys, the social life and freedom they have in Lubumbashi all have to be considered. Overall, it seems the guy is very happy at TPM. I think for the young ones, Daka and Ngoma, this is their time to go and prove themselves. As for Sunzu, he shouldn’t even think twice, he should go for this offer.

    • Its heart warming to know that HR has not forgotten the country that started the meteoric rise in the quality of his C.V. I would be happy if he even signed just one Zambian player. I hope he can pry Sunzu out of China, that for me would be a golden move. If the story on Kalaba is true then I should say I’m totally dumbstruck by his decision. How many players ever get such an opportunity in the twilight of their careers. He is 30 this year meaning only in the region of about 3 to 4 seasons of top flight football left in him.

    • Guys, I can see why Kalaba is abit gun shy with going to Lille. I think he has been jaded by his previous stints in Europe. He was in Portugal for his latest one, but had also had a brief spell in France which did not work out well for him. It’s not a good decision, but one can look at his experiences and almost see why he is not jumping on this opportunity with both hands.

  3. if it’s about money kalaba then he wrong, o those stars in europe strted small. Mayb its time for small boys 2 go 2 europe, we jst need players in europe

  4. I suspect Patrice Carteron will be the new Chipolopolo coach. Having played as a player for Cannes, Saint-Entienne, Sunderland, Olympique Lyon, Rennes and Stade Laval, he aso has great experience in coaching having coached Cannes,Dijon, Mali National team and African giants TP Mazembe, he comes close to my mind when I hear that of the three shortlisted, one is from France. His favorite formation is 4 2 3 1 where you pack the midfield with two midfielders helping in defence while three of them helping in attack. I hope its him coz he has worked with Kalaba, Sinkala, Sunzu and Singuluma and will not struggle to adapt in Africa having worked in Mali and Congo. PATRICE CARTERON? What do u think?

    • The week is almost over, lets hope the minister was not jumping the gun with his announcement. He does come across as a bit of an excited fellow. It will strike a chord of embarrassment for the minister if the announcement is not made this week.

  6. Ambassador Rena, please take Lubambo in place of Kalaba. I personally comprehend Kalaba’s stance. katumbi is paying Kalaba more than he could be getting at Lilies, so only a fool can leave money simply because its Europe and we all know, moreover Kalaba has been in france before and he lent bench endurance right in France. Rena is unpredictable, he took Mayuka only to show him the bench. wise decision Kalaba, you’re 29 and remember, the clock is winding.

    • Do you have any proof that a club as big and accomplished as Lille would pay a salary less than TP Mazembe? lets not make speculation fact please. Kalaba is on a $30,000 a month salary do you honestly think Lille players get less than that?

  7. Lubambo Musonda has eligibility issues, Zamfoot could you please investigate this further, does this mean he is still attached to the club in Europe?

What’s the true story with this kid, is he another player on the Emmanuel Mbola road of career destruction by thinking he can disrespect contracts?
