Power Dynamos are on the verge of acquiring the services of USA based U20 midfielder Benson Sakala to fill the gap left by Thomas Nyirenda.
A Zambianfootball.co.zm source has confirmed that Power are already in talks with the combative anchorman who was part of the Zambia U20 team that played at the CAF Championship earlier in the year.
Sakala who is on the books of Chicago Magic has also been on the fringes of the senior Chipolopolo squad and featured for the U23 against Botswana in the Olympic qualifiers where he played the entire match in central defense.
With Emmanuel Chimpinde playing his latter years and Richard Kasonde not leaving up-to last season’s form, Power are desperate to plug the gap which will be left by Nyirenda’s move to Mozambique.
