ZESCO Ndola Girls Go Top After Six-Goal Rout in Lusaka

ZESCO Ndola Girls moved to the summit of the ZPL Women’s Super League after producing a dominant 6–0 victory over Elite Ladies away in Lusaka on Saturday.

Despite resting several regular starters, the Ndola side took control early and led 5–0 at half-time, underlining their squad depth and title credentials.

Milla Milambo opened the scoring in the third minute before Dorothy Daka doubled the advantage six minutes later following a pass from Fridah Kabwe. Thandiwe Ndhlovu then struck twice either side of an own goal by Matildah Mukunda to complete a devastating first-half display.

Ndhlovu completed her hat-trick just a minute into the second half to seal a comprehensive win.

The result lifts ZESCO Ndola Girls two points clear at the top of the table, at least temporarily, increasing pressure on closest rivals Green Buffaloes Women ahead of their midweek fixture.

Elsewhere, Trident Queens continued their strong run with a 1–0 win over Luyando Foundation Girls.
