Zanaco have opened a 10 point lead at the summit of the MTN FAZ Super League table after they beat visiting Kabwe Warriors 1 – 0 at Sunset Stadium.
The bankers posted their sixth successive win as they continue to soar on top of the log thanks to a 24th minute header by captain Ziyo Tembo from a Fackson Kapumbu corner.
This was Tembo’s third goal of the season.
Power Dynamos moved one step up on the log into fourth position thanks a brace by Fwayo Tembo when they won 2 – 1 away against Napsa Stars.
Power overtook Green Buffaloes who were helf at home by visiting Green Eagles.
There was also a big win for Lusaka Dynamos which saw them crawl out of the relegation zone into 13th position.
