Zambia Super League side, Zanaco are currently in Chipata for a five day mid-season training camp.
The Bankers are using the camp to work on team bonding between the new and old players ahead of the restart of the 2023/2024 Super League season.
Head Coach, Wedson Nyirenda says the team picked Chipata because they needed a secluded place away from the noise in town.
“The reason for this trip is to encourage team bonding. We have a lot of new players in our midst so we want them to gel with their teammates. We needed a secluded place like this one, away from the hustle of the town,” he said.
The team started with a recovery session at Chipata Trades Training Institute football ground on Tuesday.
Zanaco are currently 8th on the log with 27 points from 20 games played so far.
