MTN Super League side Sensational ZANACO have entered the race to sign Atletico Lusaka forward Benjamin ‘Bangala’ Chisala the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Chisala is a transfer target for CAF Confederation Cup envoys ZESCO United but ZANACO have joined the race and tabled an enticing offer, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Apart from the Bankers a club from Estonia has also joined the race for the versatile forward.
ZESCO United were the first to make contact with Atletico Lusaka and opened discussion over Chisala as reported earlier but ZANACO and a Club from Estonia are looking to hijack the deal.
The 21-year-old forward hit the ground running in the 2024/2025 MTN Super League season scoring in his first three matches.
Chisala finished the season with 9 goals and only Idris Ilunga Mbombo, Titus Chansa (13), Simon Mulenga (11), Andrew Phiri (10) and Innocent Kashita (10) scored more goals than him. Chisala also missed a number of games during the season due to injury.
In the 2023-24 ZPL National League season Chisala netted 13 goals helping the Bad Boys win promotion to the Super League.
Chisala is originally a midfielder but can play several positions including on the wing and as a false nine.
