Zanaco edge Power Dynamos as Zesco ease past Kansanshi Dynamos 

ZANACO edged Power Dynamos at Sunset Stadium while ZESCO United made easy work of Kansanshi Dynamos as two rescheduled matches took centre stage. 

In a rescheduled MTN Super League week 12 encounter, ZESCO United welcomed Kansanshi Dynamos at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. 

The CAF Confederation Cup envoys were without midfielder David Simukonda, winger Pascal Phiri and defender Gift Mphande who are out on National duty in Morocco with the Chipolopolo Boys. 

ZESCO took the lead just before halftime when Amine Hiver rose highest to head home from a corner, giving the hosts a 1–0 advantage going into the break. 

Samson Ngoma doubled ZESCO’s lead in the 87th minute with a close-range finish following a defensive lapse to seal a comfortable 2-0 win. 

At Sunset Stadium, Wasteful Power Dynamos suffered a narrow 1-0 loss at the hands of ZANACO. 

Lambert Araina capitalised on a loose ball inside the box to score the decisive goal in the 81st minute in what was Chawananga Kaonga’s last game for ZANACO

The win takes ZANACO to 27 points moving them to second place on the log and within four points of leaders, Red Arrows.
