Mbesuma Urges Kansanshi Dynamos to Keep Fighting

Kansanshi Dynamos suffered a setback after going down to Zesco United but the defeat was followed by a timely boost of encouragement from one of Zambia’s most decorated football icons.

The match attracted notable attention, with 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner Collins Mbesuma in attendance at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

After the final whistle, the former Chipolopolo striker took time to address the Kansanshi Dynamos players in the dressing room, offering motivation and perspective following the loss.

Addressing the Kansanshi Dynamos squad, Mbesuma urged the players to remain confident and focused, praising their style of play while calling for greater hunger in attack.

“I watched your game and you are playing good football. Yes, you have lost, but that game is gone – focus forward. Learn the lessons and look ahead,” Mbesuma said.

“You have a good coach and the way you are playing is positive. What is missing is being more forceful and hungry in front of goal. Scoring comes from desire.”

His words offered valuable encouragement as Kansanshi Dynamos look to regroup, draw lessons from the defeat, and fight for improved results in the matches ahead.
