MTN Super League side Sensational ZANACO has confirmed the departure of head coach Wedson Nyirenda who has resigned from his position.
The club confirmed the development in a press statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew.
“Zanaco Football Club wishes to inform all stakeholders that Head Coach Wedson Nyirenda has chosen to resign from his role.”
Dabid Chilufya will take over in the interim with Henry Banda remaining in his position as first assistant coach and Kennedy Kalale as goalkeeper coach.

Zanaco Football Club wishes to inform all stakeholders that Head Coach Wedson Nyirenda has chosen to resign from his role.
The Club would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to Coach Nyirenda for his invaluable contributions to Zanaco FC, as his efforts were instrumental in ensuring the Club’s continued presence in the league last season.
We wish him success in his future pursuits. During this transitional period, First Assistant Coach Dabid Chilufya will take on the responsibilities of Interim Head Coach. Henry Banda will maintain his role as Assistant Coach, while Kennedy Kalale will continue in his position as Goalkeepers Coach.
