Moses Phiri scored the only goal of the game as the Bankers, Sensational Zanaco edged Kafue Celtic 1-0 in a rescheduled week 29 MTN Super League encounter.
The Bankers moved close to a place in the top four following a hard fought 1-0 win over relegation threatened, Kafue Celtic.
Moses Phiri’s first half strike was enough to hand the Bankers their third win in five games.
The former Buildcon striker has now scored 13 goals and is just a goal away from joining Friday Samu at the summit of the top goalscorers chart.
Kelvin Kaindu’s men are actually unbeaten in their last 12 league games despite only managing four wins in that same period.
The win takes the Bankers to 6th place with 42 points from 29 games while the Crocs remain stuck in 16th place with 29 points from 30 games with the threat of the relegation being more and more real.
