Zanaco assistant coach Dabid Chilufya has praised the team’s attitude and competitivenes following their goalless draw with PSL giants Memelodi Sundowns.
Zanaco came in the match with new recruits as they start the search for continental and league glory. New signing Tiberius Lombard and Belchance Makiesa looking solid.The match also saw the return of veteran Ziyo Tembo and Charles Zulu who played his first fuIl game after coming from long term injury.
“We have a crop of new players and we are hoping to find the chemistry.We believe with new players we can reach the Confedaratioms finals and the boys have showed that we are CAF material,” Chilufya told the ZamFoot Crew.
Zanaco is on bye in the first preliminary stage and their first CAF match will be on the weekend of 11/12 September 2019 away to either Bolton CYC of Mauritius or Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana.
