Memelodi Sundowns assistant coach Manqoba Mngqithi has praised Zanaco football club for the high-intensity match they played against his side on Wednesday afternoon.
Mngqithi was speaking after his side played to a goalless draw with ten men Zanaco at Sunset Stadium this afternoon.
“They are assembling a good team and overall I’m always impressed with Zambian football. This is one country that has too many talents and always accounts for itself,” Mngqithi said.
Memelodi Sundowns are in Zambia for part of their pre-Season training and the game against Zanaco was their first of the two games. They will face Red Arrows on Saturday before returning to South Africa for a final practice match on Wednesday next week.
Coach Manqosa singled out Zanacoas center back Belchance Makiesa and winger Guilly Manziba as the best performers of the day from the bankers.
