Zambia Under-17 Women’s National Team Coach Kaluba Kangwa has named his 20 members final squad who are set to compete at the 2019 Inaugural COSAFA Women’s Championship slated for Mauritius to be played from September 20-29.
The Young Copper Queens are in Group A alongside Hosts Mauritius, Comoros, and Uganda who are the Guest Nation.
Zambia will play all its matches at the St. François Xavier Stadium and will open their campaign against East African guest nation Uganda on Friday, September 20 before facing Comoros two days later and will wrap up their Group match against the Host Mauritius on September 24.
Group B has South Africa, Seychelles, Botswana, and Madagascar.
This 2019 Inaugural Cosafa Women’s Championship has two groups A and B with the Winners and Runners Up from each group progressing to the Semi-finals.
The losers from the semis will fight for Bronze in the 3rd and 4th Play-Off while the Winners will Square-Off for Gold In the September 29 Grand Finale.
