The Zambia U17 National team has been drawn in Group H of the 2025 Qatar World Cup alongside giants Brazil.
Apart from the South American giants who are regulars at this tournament, the Junior Chipolopolo will also face Indonesia and Honduras.
Brazil are four time Champions of the FIFA U17 World Cup winning it in 1997, 1999, 2003, and 2019 while finishing as runners-up up in 1995, and 2005.
Zambia booked a ticket to the FIFA U-17 World Cup after they qualified to the quarterfinals of the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Fellow African Nations Uganda and Mali ate in Group K and L respectively while Burkina Faso were placed in Group I.
South Africa are in Group A alongside the hosts Qatar, Morocco in group B, Senegal in Group C with Tunisia in Group D. Group E has Egypt, Cote D’Ivoire are in Group F.
Doha will host the tournament from November 3 to 27, featuring 48 teams. This is the first of five editions that FIFA has awarded to Qatar to organize until 2029, under the new expanded format that, for the first time in FIFA World Cup history across all categories, includes this number of participating teams.
Get serious with your job. The picture shows the other failures their big brothers the U20.
Show us Kalimina & the dissapointing Sugar en Spice lad.
These chaps will be back home quickly. The AFCON showing was terrible. Busy playing just to participate & not to compete. No fight No passion No desire to do better and win.
Then why use U20 pictures?
Let ba Mweemba arrange for a friendly match for them against the likes of Argentina š¦š·, Mexico š²š½ or Uruguay šŗš¾ (it can be better if they play all the three teams before meeting Brazilians) because these teams play almost like Brazil š§š·, that will be a good preparation for them. Don’t just send them for a mere showing up or just fulfilling a fixture no we also want results and trophies š to come to Zambia šæš², seriously ba Mweemba and his team should organise high profile friendly matches with teams that have qualified for the world cup as well.
Make the effort guys
It’s a fair Group. They can come out of this Group with better preparations and self belief.
The boys in this picture U20’s were disappointing. Please remove them from the post.
