The Zambia Women’s National Team will face Malawi in the final of the 2023 COSAFA Women’s Championship following Malawi’s 2-1 win over Mozambique.
The Copper Queens will be looking to defend their title when the two neighbours meet in the final on Sunday.
Temwa Chawinga’s late brace gave Malawi a well deserved 2-1 win to set up a meeting with Zambia in the final.
Meanwhile Sarah Jere’s 51st minute solo goal was enough to send the defending champions to the final.
The final will be played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville at 15h00.
The third/fourth place playoff will see Zimbabwe entertain Mozambique at the same stadium at lunchtime.
