Five star Red Arrows open five-point lead at the summit as Celtic hold Forest Rangers

Red Arrows have opened a five point lead at the summit following an impressive five nil win over Kansanshi Dynamos away in Solwezi.

The Mabanga Boys have dropped into the drop after this defeat.

The Airmen came into the game looking to revenge a 3-0 loss at Nkoloma Stadium in the first round and made easy work of the Mabanga Boys.

Goals from Joseph Phiri and Ricky Banda put the Airmen in control just 30 minutes into the game.

Tresor Tshibwabwa got in on the action in the 35th minute heading home his first goal for Arrows.

Kayembe Alidor added a fourth goal while Kebson Kamanga added a fifth with a brilliant free kick to seal an emphatic win for the Airmen.

The win means Chisi Mbewe’s men have now gone 14 league matches without defeat.

Tapson Kaseba announced his return to Konkola Stadium with a goal in the 57th minute to put the hosts in the lead before Owen Tembo could double the lead in the 65th minute from the penalty spot.

Prison Leopards recorded an important 2-1 win over Buildcon at President Stadium in Kabwe to move them to 12th place with 24 points.

Junior Zulu converted from the spot for the Collect Boys while Lubinda Mundia scored Team Kopala’s goal to level matters only for Landu Miete to win it in the dying minutes.

Bornwell Mwape and Clifford Mulenga put Fole Malembe in the lead just nine minutes into the match.

Midfielder Thomas Zulu was shown marching orders in the first minute of additional time to make sure the Crocs finished the match with ten men.
