Zambia Super League week 1 recap

The 2020/2021 MTN/ FAZ season kicked off on Friday with one game and six more games followed on Saturday with two sets to wrap up action this afternoon in week one.

Kitwe united were slapped with three cases to answer and reprimanded in the prison of a ‘leopard’ for failure to account themselves properly in the top tier of Zambian football as they went down 3 nil at home to visiting Correctional servicemen of kabwe with warders Francis Zulu, Simon Nkandu and Junior Zulu escorting them to the cells on Friday.

It ended 2 nil in favor of Forest rangers against Nkana in the second match played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

It had to take the Koko master, Julius situmbeko to bail the radiants out of the hands of the police force who went to solwezi to pick them up. Only after they were picked up by a team led by an officer in the name of Pride Mwansa, they called on Julius situmbeko to come to their rescue. It ended 1-1 between Lumwana Radiants and Nkwazi.

After importing crude oil from overseas, they paid the visit to the bank of Zanaco to help them pay the costs who in-turn gave them two accountants in the name of Rodger Kola and Moses Phiri to take care of their money business before the sunset. The match ended 2 nil in favor of zanaco the bankers.

The Army boys were not ready for the task of fighting and conquering as they were afraid of fighter jets in the sky. The football match between go boys fight and conquer and the airmen with painted red arrows ended in spoils being shared. It was 0-0 between Green buffaloes and Red Arrows

It took only one soldier from Choma whose names are Anos Tembo to make the railway road impassable in Kabwe by removing the railway sleepers which were put up by the Zambia railways in the eyes of the late legend Godfrey Ucar Chitalu. It ended 1-0, with Kabwe Warriors losing at 107 Godfrey Ucar chitalu stadium at the hands of green Eagles fondly called tonka twende.
