The Zambia U17 Men’s National Team has intensified preparations for the TotalEnergies U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, as the squad sharpens its tactical approach ahead of the continental showpiece.
Coach Ian Bakala and his technical bench have been taking the young Chipolopolo boys through intensive drills at the Niaiva Sportif Complex, focusing on offensive and defensive strategies, as well as enhancing team cohesion.
Zambia is drawn in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Uganda and Tanzania, with their opening fixture set for Monday, March 31, 2025 against Tanzania.
The tournament, featuring 16 teams across four groups, is not only a battle for continental supremacy but also serves as a qualifier for the FIFA U17 Men’s World Cup, which will be staged later this year in Qatar.
