The Zambia U20 Women’s National Team has arrived back home from Kinshasa where they drew goalless with DR Congo in the Colombia 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup second round, second leg qualifier match on Saturday.
The draw was not enough to send Charles Haalubono’s side to the third round as they were eliminated on away goals rule after a 2-2 drew with DR Congo in the first leg at Nkoloma stadium.
The Las Leopards will play Burundi who knocked out South Africa in the second round.
Zambia arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka at 01h30 aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
