Kabwe based Zambia Super League side Prison Leopards have appointed Chris Kaunda as their new head coach.
Kaunda was unveiled this morning during a press conference streamed live from the Correctional Service Headquarters in Kabwe.
Kaunda takes over from Albert Kachinga who dumped the club last week to join North Western based side Trident FC.
In the absence of Kachinga Assistant coach Collins Mulenga took charge of the team in the interim together with goalkeeper coach Eugene Tchatchoua.
Kachinga was in charge of the Collect Boys in the last two years since taking over from Ishmael Balanga back in 2021.
Kaunda’s last stint was at Kabwe Warriors where he was appointed to replace Ian Bakala in January 2022 before being replaced by George Lwandamina in June.
Kaunda’s first game with the Collect Boys will be away to Mutondo Stars this Saturday.
