Zambia are on the verge of being eliminated from the CHAN 2024 after Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Angola.
Avram Grant’s men threw away a 1-0 lead to concede two late goals.
Grant tinkered with his starting line up but to no unveil.
Zambia is bottom of Group A with no points as they also lost their opening match against DR Congo.
The Chipolopolo Boys will face Morocco and Kenya on Thursday and Sunday respectively.
Host Kenya lead the group on 7 points while the Atlas Lions are level on 3 points with Angola and DR Congo.
This is Zambia’s worst run at the CHAN tournament.
The Copper Bullets have reached the quarter finals three times and came third in 2009.

It doesn’t Hurt anymore to lose as a Zambian. It’s become our tradition.
Sounds like the status… so so sad… oh dear boys, get some passion…
There are a lot of factors that contribute to have a winning team at chan or caf.
1. A countries participation of it’s clubs at international level
2. a competitive league with good players and coaches
3. modern football infrastructure
5. The right footballers like fashion, mwepu, daka, mweene, Katongo, malitoli etc
6. competitiom from foreign players at club level.
all these factors are missing mu Zambia as at present . The coach is ok.
