Zambia could become the first country to get a maximum 9 points from a CHAN group stage since the tournament started in 2009.
With Rwanda and DR Congo failing to maintain their 100 percent, it remains to be seen if the boys from Lusaka can enter the history books.
While George Lwandamina’s men have already qualified to the quarter finals, Mali has to win or earn a point against Zambia.
Though Lwandamina has the luxury of resting a few players, winning in Kigali tomorrow will be on the gaffer’s mind.
Zambia can better the record achieved in 1996 and 2012 when Zambia got 7 points in the group stage.

Its will better we get a point and keep our sheet clean.
Yes so that we meet Guinea, coz if Nigeria continue playing the way they played in the first half then they are out. It’s Guinea 1:Nigeria 0 while Tunisia is leading by 2 goals to 0 against Niger
Nigeria struggling against Guinea. losing 1-0.
Rather meet Nigeria not Tunisia, Arabs put njenjemisation (shivers) to our boys history can testify.
Good job captain!
Niger 0-5 Tunisia.
Guinea 1-0 Nigeria.
We better beat Mali.
Ine, I am waiting for a comment from that blogger who was praying God almighty could deliver the Chipolopolo into the hands of Nigeria for a beating in this CHAN tournament.
Unfortunately its, sorry my brother your prayers will not be answered
So Nigeria is out!
Go Zambia go! We have to beat Mali at all costs so that we set up a tie with Guinea instead of Tunisia.
We need to beat Mali tomorrow to avoid Tunisia. Tunisia is in top form
I would see Zambia play Genea than Tunisia
I haven’t watched Tunisia but Guinea is too resilient in my view! But its better to play Guinea coz they concede.
Q draw will ensure zambia avoids Tunisia.
Every time arabs a enemis to us,gus jus try or draw to met fellow blacks.
This time around gentlemen let us remove that fear we have for they arabs, to be a champ you have to beat the best teams, I what arabs so that we see how prepared Zambia we are
North African teams play dirty. They are given a lot of praise for their technical ability, in actual fact they play very defensively and look for the counter attack. Their most effective weapon though is feigning injury. As soon as the opposition builds momentum in attack there are inexplicable delays for fake injuries. It’s very frustrating to watch and has robbed many a sub-Saharan team of progress. But lets beat who ever is in front of us comprehensively and remove any doubt or fear because this current team is capable of winning the tournament.
even if we can rest our key players we wil get postive results to finish as group leaders to face guinea.
The west africans e.g ivory coast and cameroon will be waiting for you people so lets not get too cocky until we progress
Cameroon and Ivory Coast are not fearsome, we can beat that Ivory coast team. We have big problems whenever we play North Africans. It’s better we avoid them now and meet them at a later stage.
The confidence being built by each game we play and win is awesome.
