Zambia has booked a place in the semifinals of the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations | COSAFA Qualifiers.
This follows the Young Copper Bullets 1-0 win over Eswatini to finish the group stage with a 100 percent winning record.
Kafue Celtic’s Nthasilwe Malupande’s long range strike was the difference as Zambia concluded the group stage unbeaten with three wins.
The defending Champions have scored 14 goals while conceding just one in the Group stage.
Ian Bakala’s team will face the winner of Group C in the semifinals for a chance to qualify to the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Boys event will see the two finalists qualify for the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations 2025 that is set to be hosted in Ivory Coast next year.
