After a lucklustre first half, the Young Copper Queens came back more organized in the second half missing a couple of chances through Agnes Phiri while The Black Princesses came close to extending the lead hitting the post twice but that did not change the complexion of the scoreline as the match ended 1-0 to Ghana.
This defeat by the Young Copper Queens means that The Black Princesses of Ghana are through to the penultimate round were they will face Uganda who edged South Africa 1-0 in the other match.
The 2022 Costa Rica FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be played from 10-28 August with only 2 slots allocated to Africa at this world’s showpiece.

We saw plenty talent in the Zambian girls but appear to be poorly coached. The man in charge of the team lacks tactical awareness.
