Yasa Queens are through to the 2020 FAZ Lusaka Provincial Womens Football Tournament Final after a remarkable second-half comeback edging Nkwazi Queens 3-1 in the first of the two semi-finals played at Arakan Barracks Ground.
A Brace from Christine Nyirongo and a goal from Botswana National Women’s Team Midfielder Thanda Mogkabo was enough to clip down a tireless Nkwazi who scored first through Anastasia Mwanza.
The police sponsored outfit failed to hold on to their 1-nil first-half lead as Christine Nyirongo equalized a few minutes into the second half to make it 1-1 and a few minutes later Thanda Mogkabo made it 2-1 before Nyriongo completed her Brace to bury the game as the final score was Nkwazi 1-3 YASA.
The Hellen Kaunda based outfit will wait for the winner between Green Buffaloes and Red Arrows in the second Semi-Final to lock horns with each other in the final.
