The FAZ Women’s Super Division entered week 13 of action on Saturday with eight exciting matches taking place across the country.
ZESCO Ndola Girls will be on top of the FAZ Women’s Super Division log table during the Christmas period after their win away in Solwezi.
A Charity Mubanga brace was enough to hand the Zegalicious Girls a 2-0 win over Police Dove Queens.
ZESCO Ndola Girls lead the table on goal difference as it is a three way tie at the summit with 29 points with Indeni and Buffaloes.
At Nkoloma Stadium a double header came alive as National Assembly welcomed Indeni Roses while Red Arrows entertained Nkwazi Queens.
In the early kick off, Indeni Roses recorded a routine 4-0 win over the Parliamentarian Ladies.
Veteran striker Noria Sosala scored a brace while Luwi Muyoyi and Norin Betani chipped in with a goal each.
In the second match at the same venue, It was a Susan Banda show as the Copper Queens midfielder dragged the Airwomen from a goal down to a 2-1 win.
Suwilanji Chibesa put Nkwazi Queens in the lead before Susan Banda could level matters and put Arrows in the lead with a beautifully taken free kick.
Elsewhere, Luyando Foundation Girls suffered a second successive defeat as they succumbed to a 3-0 loss away to Elite Ladies.
Saliya Mwanza put Elite Ladies in the lead with a well taken free kick before Thandiwe Nkhata could double the lead with a beautiful long range strike.
Xiomara Mapepa sealed the win with an added time strike.
In Ndola, Defending Champions Green Buffaloes were surprisingly held to a goalless draw by Kamfisa Police Blue Eagles while YASA Queens and Queens Academy played to a 1-1 draw.
Kabwe Celtic Queens recorded their second point of the season as they held Trident Queens to a 1-1 draw.
Green Eagles edged ZISD in a five goals thriller. Cindy Banda, Alice Chikoti, and Esther Mumba scored for Eagles while ZISD got their goals through Lungowe Namasiku, and Mercy Vitumbiko.
