Nkwazi have booked their place in the 2024 ABSA Cup following a 1-0 win over Green Eagles away in Choma.
Emmanuel Chabula came off the bench to score the winner in added time on his birthday to send the Oswald Mutapa coached outfit into the only Cup Competition in the country.
Following the loss Eagles will now have to hope FC MUZA can do them a favour by beating Kabwe Warriors this afternoon.
Green Buffaloes finally put an end to their five match winless run as they saw off struggling Trident 2-0.
Second half goals from Golden Mashata and George Ngoma handed Buffaloes the much needed maximum points.
NAPSA Stars held Power Dynamos to a 1-1 draw while Enock Sakala Jnr rescued a point for ZESCO United away in Mufulira.
Power Dynamos have also qualified to the ABSA Cup.
The biggest result of the day came from Sunset Stadium as Nkana edged ZANACO 1-0.
Youngster Royd Katuna’s first half strike was enough to hand Nkana a well deserved win.
Prison Leopards and Konkola Blades played out to a 1-1 draw.
Action continues this afternoon as Forest Rangers visit Kansanshi Dynamos while Kabwe Warriors welcome FC MUZA.
