Following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup group stage qualifying round on Tuesday, attention shifts to the playoffs.
Ten countries will battle it for the five places to represent Africa in Qatar next year.
Southern Africa and East Africa have no representation as the West and North African countries continue to dominate African football .
West Africa has five representatives while North Africa has four.
Zambia’s northern neighbours DR Congo is the only country outside those two zones.
The draws for the playoffs will take place in December 5. Former African Champions Ivory Coast, South Africa and Zambia did not progress.
