Week five action to take centre stage – Mabanga derby on as Nkwazi welcome Warriors

The Zambia Super League enters week five of action this afternoon with six matches taking centre stage around the country.

The battle for the early lead and staying away from the relegation zone will intensify this weekend.

15h00 FC MUZA Vs Nchanga Rangers | Nakambala Stadium

Log leaders Nchanga Rangers will be hoping to maintain their  unbeaten run and lead at the summit when they visit the Nakambala Stadium Mazabuka.

Nchanga are yet to drop points this season with three wins and a draw. FC MUZA on the other hand have a win and two draws to their name.

Coach Robert Tembo is expected to rely on the strength and prowess of skipper Christian Saile, the brilliance of Logic Ching’andu and the trickery of Kunda Nkandu to get a result away in Mazabuka.

MUZA on the other hand are not an easy opponent to crack as evidenced by their draw at Arthur Davies Stadium last weekend.

The hosts will be hoping to return to winning ways following their 2-1 loss away to ZESCO United in Ndola.

Bilton Musonda also has a few arsenals under his belt with Musonda Siame, Richard Zulu , Pheuzzy Chibandika,Moro Amenu and Josphat Kasusu all available for selection.

Nkwazi are however boosted by the return of ‘the buyer’ Justin Shonga who has rejoined the club five years after his departure.

Shonga walks straight into the starting line up as he leads the attack alongside Christopher Zulu and Bernard Kumwenda.

Kabwe Warriors on the other hand are looking for their second win of the season having already recorded one, beating the Champions Red Arrows, 1-0.
