Super League side Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have parted ways with head coach Charles Kafula and his assistant Harrison Tembo following a mutual agreement.
This comes after a string of poor results in the opening six matches of the season. Legendary cup fighters have only managed one win so far.
The club confirmed the development in a statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew.

Mufulira Wanderers Football Club has mutually agreed to part ways with its 2 coaches, Charles Kafula and Harrison Tembo, who have been at the helm of the team from the beginning of the 2024/2025 soccer season. This decision comes after a series of unsatisfactory results.
In the meantime, Goalkeeper Coach Charles Mpunga Kalumba will steer the ship on a temporary basis.
The Board, Management, and Staff of Mufulira Wanderers Football Club extend their best wishes to Coach Charles Kafula and Coach Harrison Tembo in all their future endeavours.
