Visit from Zambia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Emmanuel Mwamba elates Micho

Zambian National team head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic was full of appreciation for Zambia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Emmanuel Mwamba for taking the time to visit the team earlier this morning.

The Serbian gaffer told the Ambassador that he was fully aware of the fact that he and his team are representing 18 million Zambians and are fully focused on the matches they have to play in East Africa.

“We want to get a Competitive momentum before important AFCON qualifiers against Botswana and Niger for Ethiopia. We are representing 18 million Zambians and we are fully aware of that. We are sporting enemies during the match and friends before and after the match,” Micho said.

Micho’s local Assemblage recorded an impressive 3-2 win this afternoon after coming from two goals down against Ethiopia in their first of four friendly matches.

Next is a game against South Sudan on Saturday before facing Ethiopia again on Sunday and ending the six-day tour of East Africa with a clash against South Sudan again.
