Virgil Van Dijk will partner Dejan Lovren in the heart of defense as they look to stop in-form Norwegian teenage Sensation Erling Braut Haaland, Hee-Chan Hwang, and Patson Daka if he comes on in the second half.
Salzburg needs a win to progress to the round of 16 while Liverpool needs just a draw to make it to the next round.

Mwepu played a very solid 90 minutes. Daka showed a few flashes of brilliance as a sub. Liverpool was just too skilled in the end. Very enjoyable match to watch in any case!
Mwepu is getting a lot of positive comments from soccer pundits in Europe. He was on top of his game especially first half. He matched the Liverpool midfield with all those Stars.
But like Andy says Liverpool prevailed because of experience and quality. Mwepu won’t be in Salzburg come next season. Watch this space….
