Zambia Under-23 coach Osward Mutapa junior has turned to under-20 stars to boast his squad ahead of the CAF U23 African Cup of Nations against Egypt.
The Junior Chipolopolo face the young pharaohs in back to back qualifiers this month.
Zambia beat Sierra Leone in the last round to book a date against Egypt.
Despite the Zambia Under-20 clashing out at the CAF U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt last week in the first round, Mutapa still has faith in some of the boys.
Red Arrows duo goalkeeper Jeban Tembo and defender Happy Nsiku have been drafted into the Joseph ‘Budo’ Mutale led under-23 squad.
Other are Athletico trio Kingstone Mutandwa (striker), Gift Mphande (defender) and Dominic Kanda (midfielder).
The quintuple were part of Chisi Mbewe’s Under-20. They arrived in the country last week on Wednesday.
The Zambia Under-23 are currently in camp with the likes of Golden Mashata, Prince Mumba, Ricky Banda and Patrick Gondwe as some of the high profile players in camp.

These boys failed to win a game at the just ended U20 Afcon & someone wants to appease God knows who by thinking these boys will add value to the U23.
