U17WWCQs; Zambia to face winner between Eswatini and Tanzania

The path to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 has been revealed with Zambia set to join in the second round.

Zambia, fresh off their participation in this year’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic will look to make it two appearances in a row.

The Copper Princesses will enter the race in the second round, where they are set to face the winner of the first round tie between Eswatini and Tanzania.

Should Carol Kanyemba’s side advance, they will face a third round showdown against the winners of the (Congo vs. Benin) x (DR Congo vs. Niger) fixtures, with a ticket to Morocco on the line.

Mercy Chipasula, Masela Sekeseke, Taonga Natasha Mubanga, Grace Phiri, Hellen Banda, Nana Malanda and Natasha Nkaka will be key for the Copper Princesses.

The FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 will be the first time the tournament will be hosted on African soil and only the second time in an Arab country, following Jordan’s hosting in 2016.
