Simba Sports Club are through to the group stages of the CAF champions league after a 3-1 win over Nkana FC in the second leg of the CAF champions league this afternoon in Tanzania.
Nkana settled in quickly with an early goal through Walter Bwalya who put the visitors in the driving seat.
The home side Maintained ball possession and responded in the 29th minute thanks to Okwedu to make it level.
Simba went into Halftime with a 2-1 lead and when the second stanza resumed it was all to play for but thanks to the home fans who kept cheering through out the game giving the home team much needed support.
A substitute was made in the 55th minute when chisamba Lungu came in for Kelvin mubanga but still this did not stop the home team from adding pressure and utilizing all the loose ends not forgotten the weakest link which was Nkana’s defense.
A turning point came in the 90th minute when clatous chama scored a back flick to secure SIMBA SC a passage to the champions league group stages with a 4-3 win on Aggregate.

The best way to improve is to admit your weakness and work towards them. Zambian soccer has gone down tremendously. Nkana used to beat Simba easily in the 80s. Today it’s a very big challenges to beat them

The referee was biased right before kick!He behaved like Jani during Nkana Vs power dynamo!The free kick which resulted into a third goal was not properly handed by the referee.The Ball was played before he could digna!l it to be played and allowed to go on! Nkana was robbed the victory! Look st the transport Nkana was given, inferior to simbas!!
