Hamududu fever might hit Chililabombwe’s Konkola Stadium on Wednesday.
Konkola Blades will host thirteen times Zambian Champions Nkana in an ‘epic encounter’ in a rescheduled week 11 match.
With Chililabombwe hosting the vocal Kalampa fans, one Blades’ fan took the initiative to invite Zambian Politician Highvie H. Hamududu last week and Tripple H oblidged.
Although Tripple H is yet to confirm on the eve of the match if he has travelled or not, the residents in the border town are keeping their fingers crossed for the celebrated Politician’s arrival.
“We [want to] invite you to come and watch Sharp Konkola Blades FC vs Nkana Football Club ]match] in Chililabombwe on Wednesday,” read a request from an unidentified Blades fan.
“I am in Chililabombwe next week,” Tripple H replied on his facebook page.
The unidentified fan didn’t end there as he went further to promise Hamududu a Blades Kopa branded away jersey.
“Keeping this one for ba President, it will be an epic game.
If he is not yet on the Copperbelt, Hamududu might be taking a morning flight from Lusaka to Ndola on the newly commissioned Zambian Airways and then drive to Chililabombwe via the dual carriage way.
Since the August 12, 2021 Zambian elections, the former Bweenga Member of Parliament has been an instant hit.
Wednesday’s match pa chibwendo promises to be an epic encounter and hopefully Hamududu will pitch up to spice it up.
Konkola Stadium is the third biggest Stadium behind National Heroes [60,000] and Levy Mwanawasa [40,000] Stadia.
Before the two stadia were built, it used to host Zambia’s international matches.
Pressure will be on Beston Chambeshi who has just guided Nkana to one victory in their last five games.
