Kalampa face Blades’ stern test

Konkola Blades host struggling Nkana in a rescheduled MTN Super League Week 11 on Wednesday.

Straight from axing Levy ‘Chabby’ Chabala and his assistant Lewintone Mujembe, Blades will hope for reaction against Kalampa.

While Blades’ caretaker Chewe Mulenga has nothing to loose, pressure is mounting for Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi.

The thirteen times Zambian Champions are struggling in the league as they have only recorded one victory in the last 5 matches.

Nkana have also won just four from twelve played so far in the league and have accumulated 15 points.

Chambeshi is expected to call on skipper Diamond Chikwekwe, Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba and Alex ‘Bazo’ Ng’onga to help him navigate past Blades.

For Blades, things have been rough on their return to the Super League.

The Konkola Stadium outfit have only picked up two wins with 11 points.

Striker Emmanuel Mwaba is expected to return to the line up after he started on the bench in the 1-0 defeat to Kafue Celtic.

Politician Highvie Hamududu is set to watch the match tomorrow at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.

On Saturday, Blades will host Green Eagles while Nkana will be at home against Forest Rangers.
