The defender was expected to make his return after a two year absence from the Chipolopolo Boys set up.
The 2012 AFCON winner last played for Chipolopolo on 14th November, 2019 in the 5-0 loss to Algeria.
Stophila Sunzu becomes the fifth player to be ruled out of the friendly match against the Blue and Whites of Israel.
Sunzu has been knocked out by COVID-19 travel restrictions in China and hence he can’t travel for the match in the Holy Land.
Fashion Sakala Jnr and Frankie Chisenga Musonda have been knocked out by injuries sustained during games at their respective clubs.
Meanwhile Moses Phiri and Clatous Chota Chama have not been released by their club hence they will miss the match on Thursday.
The match will be played on Thursday at 20H00 CAT at the Hamosheva Stadium.
The match is being used as part of preparations for the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho in March next year.
