Top spot at stake as Arrows entertain ZESCO United

The MTN Super League week 18 action continues this afternoon with a double header taking centre stage at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

The Airmen will be aiming to go top when they welcome third placed ZESCO United in an early kick off .

Arrows have however not had it easy when it comes to this fixture having lost 15 times in their last 33 meetings only managing four wins since 2006.

They will however be motivated by the fact that they managed a 2-1 win over the defending Champions in the first round.

The Airmen are expected to continue being without 2012 AFCON winner James Chamanga who lost his father in midweek but youngster Ricky Banda, Felix Bulaya and Kayembe Alidor will be eager to lead the team to victory.

In midfield the Airmen will look up to Edward Tembo, Alassane Diarra and George Mandu for creativity with Tresor Tshibwabwa as the rock at the back.

ZESCO United on the hand can look to the likes of Kelvin Mubanga and, Spencer Sautu, and Chanda Mukuka for creativity.

Upfront youngster Enock Sakala Jnr could lead the line but there is also a possibility of newcomer Pedro Miguel making his debut.

Arrows are unbeaten in their last 12 Super League games while ZESCO United will be looking for their third win in five games.
