Lusaka based side Napsa Stars suffered a 1-0 loss to Power Dynamos in an away Fixture of week 15 in the MTN FAZ Super League played at the Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe Yesterday.
The loss was the second the Pensioners have suffered this season. Napsa Stars head coach Muhammad Fathi described the game as ‘unfair’ but he, however, believes it’s water under the bridge and is focusing his attention on their next game which is against Nkana.
“The game was not fair for us to lose today even the redcard, I don’t want to talk about what happened during the game but we have to focus on the next game. This game is behind us they will still come to Lusaka in the second round and will know what we will do with them,” he said.
“This result is good it being an away game and we did not lose too many away games, it’s water under the bridge now we have to look forward to the Next game against Nkana,” he added.
According to Fathi, his side lost the game on paper and that finishing in the top four is still a priority.
“I appreciate my players they did there best today but there are certain issues happening in the ground and am not interested to talk about them and it shouldn’t be in Football but we lost the game on paper,” he said.
“Like what I said from the beginning our target is to play continental football, to finish in the top four. We are still on the right track to keep us on top and we have to focus on the next game that’s all,” he explained.
A 24th-minute own goal was enough to hand the hosts a 1-0 win ending Napsa Stars nine-match unbeaten run.
The two sides finished the match with 10 men after Aaron Kabwe and Lameck Kafwaya were sent off following a scuffle.
Napsa Stars remain second with 31 points after playing 15 games so far this season.
