Zambia Super League side, Forest Rangers Football club has elevated assistant coach Tenant Chembo to the Position of Head coach with immediate effect, the club has confirmed.
Dominic Changwe will deputize him as a first assistant coach, Owen Kaposa maintains his place as the second assistant, Francis Kasonde as Physical Trainer, and Tom Kampamba as a goalkeeper trainer.
“Forest Rangers Football Club has elevated recently appointed assistant coach Tenant Chembo to the position of Head coach, effective immediately for the next two years.
In addition, the following have been appointed as part of the technical bench;
Dominic Changwe as Assistant Coach (was also Forest Rangers Head Coach in 2008), Tom Kampamba as Goalkeeper Coach and, Francis Kasonde as a physical trainer. Coach Owen Kaposa has been maintained in his position as 2nd assistant coach.
Forest Rangers Vice-Chairman Chota Ngalande confirmed the development during a press briefing held today 1st September 2021. He also revealed that the club is aiming to play ABSA Cup and continental football.
“After last season’s unsatisfying performance, we had to restrategize as a club and we are happy to say things are shaping up.
The appointment of our head coach and additional technical staff and players will help us achieve the objectives set for the 2021/22 season.
We are confident in our preparations thus far, and we look forward to playing ABSA CUP and finishing this coming season in the top 4 brackets once again.” Mr. Ngalande said
The club could like to officially welcome our new technical bench to Forest Rangers and wish them well as they discharge their duties.
Malembe finished 12th last season with 45 points. The Ndola-based outfit will start their campaign away in Kabwe against Prison Leopards.



Most of these local coaches need to be updated technically. It’s paramount for clubs to begin sponsoring for some coaching courses
